Introduction to Audio Descriptions

  • MATCH 3400 Main Street Houston, TX, 77002 United States (map)

Join Dance Source Houston for one of our professional development workshops created with dancers, choreographers, dance educators and organization leaders in mind.

This workshop will provide an introduction to the nuts and bolts of Audio Description as a tangible access practice and a creation tool. We’ll explore various ways AD can be used and how it can help us articulate what we are making, who we are making it for, and why. We will practice how AD can support us in attuning to our inherent multiplicity and build connection with each other from there.

Presented by Kayla Hamilton.

All participants will need to mask or test negative before coming into the space. COVID tests and masks will be provided.
